Currency is a standard for trading goods. It has the function of replacing materials. It symbolizes a value. Moreover, coins in general feature a nation’s name, date of issuance, and important images. Most currencies commemorate important politicians, which is their proof of being the legal tender. This work is an enlarged mock NTD50 coin, a reference of formal symbol. The coin has two parts: the outer ring is bronze, inscribed with ROC 1098 and 3098 A.D.; this is a prediction of the future, and suggests that R.O.C. will last forever. The inner circle is a stainless steel mirror, which displays a cutting sheet mesh in the shape of a person. A motor and interactive device are installed so that the inner circle spins continuously whenever someone approaches. Because of its slightly uneven surface, when it spins, it duplicates the space around, generating a twisting and distorting effect through its clock-wise rotation.
